Training (On-site, Classroom, Web)
4GL Solutions is committed to the proper training of your staff to insure the full power of STEEL MANAGER III can be utilized by the Client. Should additional training subsequent to the initial installation be desired, training sessions can be done on-site, in a classroom setting or online via Teams.
Data Migration
The migration of your company data from your legacy system to STEEL MANAGER III metal service center software will be conducted by 4GL Solutions. We have extensive experience in all types of data migrations.
Implementation / Project Management
4GL Solutions has considerable experience in conversions from all of our major competitors. The process of implementing a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution such as our Steel Manager III can be challenging but our Implementation Specialists understand the metals industry completely and will be with you during the entire installation process.
Server Options
4GL Solutions offers an industry leading Cloud Server Program that is very secure and provides a completely redundant, end-to-end solution utilizing world class hardware. Your data on the Steel Manager III server, as well as network documents such as Certifications and PODs (Proof of Delivery), will be backed-up to the Cloud nightly.
If you prefer an on-premises server, 4GL Solutions is an authorized Dell distributor and as such will obtain a server on your behalf configured to meet the current and future requirements for your company.
Technical Services: Business Processes Review
The first step in the implementation of Steel Manager III entails a Business Processes review by 4GL Solutions. This 3-4 day process will be onsite and involves an extensive review of existing processes and procedures with the existing software environment. This educates our Implementation staff on how you conduct your business today, and with their knowledge of best business practices observed over many installations of SM3 around the world, they can suggest different approaches that would be beneficial.
