Dashboard Reporting
One of the challenges facing metal service centers is being able to easily extract key performance metrics, in real-time, from their ERP software. Steel Manager III provides a Dashboard Reporting module that produces powerful reports, in a graphical representation of several important metrics, in an easy-to-read format.
Drill down features enable a detailed analysis of different aspects of your business in real-time. Daily sales, Open Orders, Open Quotes, Invoices and more can be viewed so sales staff can see how they are doing. Dashboards are available for Salespeople, Customers, Production Scheduling and a Sales Manager Dashboard.
Salesperson Dashboard Report
Real-Time Customer Information
Prior to calling on an account sales staff can connect to the Internet with a device such as an iPad or cell phone and access real-time information about the account using Dashboard Reporting. Open Quotes, Open Orders, Sales by Product Line, Call Report information and much more provide the sales staff with valuable information regarding the account.
In this case sales staff are presented with a high-level summary of how the account is performing. This is a particular customer’s dashboard, Svetlana Steel.
You can drill down on each of the sections for more granular information, in this case all Open Orders for the customer…
Sales by product line by month shows whether the account is growing over the past 12 months or 36 months.
Configured for cell phones – Dashboard reports are configured for a cell phone….you can toggle for any information about the customer’s purchasing habits. Outside sales staff can pull up this information prior to calling on a customer.
Call Reports
Sales staff, or office staff, can view call reports on their cell phones about all recent visits.
Production Dashboard
The Production Dashboard report shows everything that needs to be processed in the plant. Below is an overall view of ALL processes such as Cut-to-length, Bending, Beveling etc. It will show the number of pieces and weight of the material needing to be processed, along with the total processing time.
Clicking on an individual Process Code or WorkCentre will open all activity related to that process, in this case everything that needs to be Cut-To-Length.
All columns are sortable.
Management Dashboards
Sales management can easily see each individual salesperson’s Dashboard, view their customer’s purchasing history and view any call reports regarding their visits.
Sales Manager Dashboard
Clicking on a salesperson will open the following screen for that salesperson. In this case it is George Walton’s Dashboard.
You can further drill down into a specific customer, in this case for AAA Service and see everything about AAA Service, their Open Quotes, Open Orders, Invoices along with a pie-chart as to the products they have purchased, for Year-To-Date, Month-To-Date or over the past three years.
Future Dashboards
We will continue to add Dashboards in the future that we feel our customers will really benefit from. Currently there is a Financial Dashboard under development.
